Currently, there is a faq/index.html page. This page contains a manually maintained index into the other faq/*.* files. This issue is about replacing the manually maintained index page with an aggregator which compiles the index (and summaries) into the current faq/index.html file.

Well, one problem with that idea is that 1 out of 2 FAQs don't start with that text.

There are four FAQ entries, and /faq/ lists them by hand in content/faq/index.md.
At that size a generator costs more than it saves. Closing; reopen if the FAQ
grows.
