The first reference example is content/about.html which has been replaced with content/about.lisp.

Looks like a huge improvement! I was just looking at the test result in your branch, but I miss the about.html page being generated. Is that just missing from the progress output? Or is it no longer being generated?
[edit] Actually, I can answer that question myself: it's no longer being generated. See https://gitlab.common-lisp.net/dcooper/cl-site/-/jobs/839/artifacts/browse/public/ where you can browse the build artifacts/output.

Your commit message doesn't document any reasons to switch from markdown.cl to cl-markdown. Could you add a bit more detail as to why that's necessary?
Thanks!

I'll have to fix this up with respect to the recent globals.lisp cleanup, and re-submit. Stay tuned.

cl-markdown is just what I'm familiar with. I'll try switching back to markdown.cl for now.

And yeah, it wasn't generating about.html cause that filename wasn't getting picked up by the directory listing of contents/, because it doesn't exist anymore. I had neglected to clean everything up before doing my local testing. Stay tuned for a corrected merge request, over & out for this one...
